Structure of a company after the reorganisation in 1808.

• 1 x Lieutenant
• 1 x Sous-Lieutenant
• 1 x Sergeant-Major
• 4 x Sergeant
• 1 x Caporal-Fourrier (Corporal-Quartermaster)
• 8 x Corporal
• 2 x Drummer
• 121 x Voltigeur

Each battalion had 4 x sapeurs as part of the carabinier company with a corporal in command of the sapeurs of the regiment.
