“D” is the name signed to letters received by Molgond from a correspondent in Feyharbour. He references research that is being undertaken by both characters, and finishes the letters with a circular symbol of a dragon consuming it's own tail.

In truth, “D” is the ancient Gold Dragon Dorvoros. Many centuries ago she helped the Knights of Icaria defeat the evil dragon Guthu and banish all the remaining dragons to the ethereal plane. Since then she has been living in human form.
