Rufia is the librarian at Drakeholt. She is not very learned, but is extremely keen and dedicated to her profession.

Rufia is a human, slender with dark hair and eyes. She is missing the little finger from her left hand, lost in a childhood accident which she doesn't now remember (but may have been down to the cockatrice's in the library). She is quite short and slim and squints up at people as she talks to them.

Rufia cares a great deal for others, giving regularly to the poor of the town. She doesn't know Hugon well at all, although obviously she is aware that he has withdrawn to the top of the tower. She hasn't seen him for some time and will be reluctant to speculate.
