His mission is to assess the enemy&#039;s strength and disrupt their defences before the main body of the Grand Army arrives.</description>

5 September 1812 and the Russian army has ended it&#039;s long retreat and is confronting the French across the main road to Moscow. As the French arrive they assault the Russian&#039;s outlying redoubt at Schevardino. As the light begins to fail, the redoubt continues to hold out. Dumont and his men are detailed to support the attack on an adjoining hill to flank the Russian position.</description>
